Room Information

 

The Community Centre has four rooms for booking, in addition to the Pavillion Hall in Cutteslowe Park.

Please note:

* Regular rates are for block bookings of at least 5 dates, weekly/fortnightly or monthly

 

Anyone wishing to run a group for children or vulnerable adults must have proof of a DBS check before we accept the booking.


Both the NOA Community Centre and the Pavilion have toilet facilities, and wheelchair access. Both buildings are fully centrally heated. There is free WiFi access in the Community Centre. 

 

PRICE CHANGE:

As of the 1st of September 2022 the hire rates of NOA spaces will be increasing 10%

This will affect all bookings MADE after the 1st of September, not bookings happening after the 1st.

NOA Community Centre (Diamond Place)

Main Hall

Capacity up to 100, approximately 78 sqm


£22 per hour (standard rate)

£19.50 per hour (*regular rate) 

 

A pleasant, well-lit, hexagonal shaped room suitable for large gatherings and dining. Chairs and trestle tables available to seat up to 100.  Modern wooden floor (not sprung) suitable for dancing.  Upright piano.  Fixed whiteboard and large fixed white screen for use with a projector.  Window blinds (though not blackout).  Loop system for the hard of hearing.  Large, modern kitchen (see below) very nearby.

Library

Capacity up to 25 (standing or seated) approx 27sqm (6 x 4.5m)

 

£11 per hour (standard rate)

£10.00 per hour (*regular rate) 

 

A pleasant, well-lit carpeted meeting room with access onto a small garden courtyard with garden seats.  Space is suitable for coffee and sandwich events. Whiteboard, stacking chairs and small tables available in room.  Loop system for the hard of hearing.   Contains books, videos and DVDs which can be borrowed by NOA members.

 

Lecture Room

Capacity approx 20 (standing or seated)

A pleasant carpeted meeting room. Space is suitable for coffee and sandwich events. Whiteboard, stacking chairs and tables available in room. 

Annexe with Kitchenette

Capacity up to 50 seated or 20 active events, approx 63 sqm (7 x 9m)
 

£18.50 per hour (standard rate)

£16.50 per hour (*regular rate) 

 

A very pleasant, wide, spacious room with its own kitchenette and toilet with baby changing / disabled facilities, the use of which is included in the hire cost. The kitchenette provides very limited space for making and serving beverages only, no cooking facility.  The annexe has its own double door entrance, and is adjacent to the front entrance of the Community Centre.  Blinds on all windows. Stacking chairs and trestle tables available for 50 people.  Wooden floor. Fixed whiteboard.  

 

Meeting Room

Capacity for 2-4 people , approx 7 sqm (2 x 3.5m)

 

£8.00 per hour (standard rate)

£7.00 per hour (*regular rate) 

 

Ideal for small meeting for up to four people or a small office space to work in.

 

Access to Wi-Fi power outlets and a white board.

 

Room is furnished with a table and 4 chairs

Main Kitchen

£5.00 per session, for use of hot water, d when booked in conjunction with any of the above rooms (with the exception of the Annexe)

 

£10.00 per session for use of full kitchen facilities (up to and including 50 people)


Double sinks, high powered 3-minute steam dishwasher, large gas cooker, large plate-warming unit, stainless steel worktops and units. Microwave oven. Fridge and freezer. Complete crockery set for 50, cutlery and cooking utensils. Water boiler facilities.

Cutteslowe Pavilion

Hall

Capacity 70 standing, aprox 104 square metres (8 x 13m)


£18.50 per hour (standard rate)

A pleasant, well-lit hall with windows down both sides situated within Cutteslowe Park next to the children's play area (approximately 1 mile North of the NOA Community Centre.  Turn right at the Cutteslowe roundabout (A40 towards London) and the entrance to the Pavilion is approximately 500 yards on the left - just before the bridge over the dual carriageway. you can view the Pavilion google maps here

 

Very good for parties including children's, with its own kitchen and toilet.  Stackable chairs and tables available. Upright piano. Wooden floor (not sprung).

 

Use of the kitchen is included with all hires, the kitchen includes a hot water boiler, a domestic sized oven, a dishwasher, and cutlery and crockery for 40.
