The Friday Bridge Club

Do you like the idea of an afternoon's relaxed and friendly Bridge?  We meet every Friday from 1.00 to 3.30 pm in the Main Hall of NOA's Community Centre, usually four or five tables at mixed levels of experience, though for the most part we do have a good grasp of basic ACOL.

Running now for twenty years or so, we tend to think of ourselves more as a collection of friends meeting up for a social afternoon than as a formal group or club.  In other words, we love our Bridge but we're not that competitive!

Our timing too is flexible, no dark evenings, no lengthy sessions, 1.00pm for the keen, 1.30 (just as acceptable) for those who prefer an after-lunch game.  Bridge with a lighter touch, if it sounds attractive, there's no need to worry about a partner, just come along.

Come and talk to the people who are there.  You may be sure of a welcome!
